Green tea

The majority of tea consumed in the world is green tea.

In Japan, Shizuoka is the district with the most tea gardens. The average life expectancy there is noticeably higher than in the rest of Japan, and the cancer mortality rate is far lower than the national average. Stomach cancer is practically unheard of. In second and third place are Kagoshima and Kyoto, with the Uji district, which had the honour of acting as supplier to the emperor. This is where the very best comes from, the gyokuro and the best senchas.

The camellia senensis from which the Phyto Naturelle products are manufactured are amongst the best senchas.

Green tea contains the complete range of vitamins and minerals in their natural forms and concentrations.

The effect of green tea on the body:

  • Stimulates and fortifies
  • Promotes digestion
  • Reinforces the immune system
  • Strengthens the blood vessels
  • Lowers cholesterol levels
  • Increases the basic metabolic rate, thereby reducing fat
  • Fights cancer cells and the side-effects of chemotherapy
  • Retards the aging process

Green tea extracts have anti-bacterial properties, visibly destroying the membrane (the outer skin of bacteria cells) and thereby preventing bacterial infections.

Anti-oxidants in green tea, such as polyphenols, catechine and flavonoids, neutralise free radicals and protect our body or skin from their harmful effects.

You can use Phyto Naturelle green tea products on any skin type because they have a potent effect on the aging process and cleanse the skin of waste materials, which stimulates the skin to return to optimum condition, reinforcing its natural barrier function and enabling it to protect itself more effectively.

The skin regains its feeling of well-being, so that it retains its fresh and healthy (young) appearance for longer. Green tea and shea butter contain a natural UV filter.
